There are two excellent, active message boards on Yahoo for families of children with microphthalmia and anophthalmia. 

If your child has Bilateral Anophthalmia and/or Bilateral Microphthalmia and is totally blind there is a private (unlisted) group for you on Yahoo.  To join this group please send us a message on our contact us page, or send an email to Sheila, requesting an invitation to join this group.  This group was founded in 1999 and we currently have 120+ families as members of this group, all dealing with bilateral anophthalmia/microphthalmia and total blindness, and we welcome all new families! If your child has unilateral anophthalmia and/or microphthalmia, or has microphthalmia with some vision, there is a public group on Yahoo for you.  This group was founded in 2000 and there are currently 300+ families as members of this group.  We encourage you to join by going to : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Microphthalmia/

Both of these message boards are wonderful places to share and ask questions with other families dealing with anophthalmia and/or microphthalmia.  Both boards also have adult members who personally have anophthlamia or microphthlamia and are there to share their experiences and answer questions.  We encourage all families of children with A/M and all adults with A/M to join us!
